Make bridge between Sweden and China

Together with the Dean of Academy of Music and Drama (Mis. Mist Thorkelsdottir) and international administrative officer Ulf Sarner to visit two most important conservatory of music in China (Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and Shanghai Conservatory of Music) .

Commision from Swedish Radio 

March 2014

The Swedish Radio has commisoned an orchestra piece from me for the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra (Swedish National Orchestra). It will be premiered during the season 2015-2016.

Vårmusikfestivalen 2014

With suppport from Statens Musikverk, I have orgnized my second new music festival in Gothenburg which is on 14th-16th, March.
During the festival, we will present 10 living composers compositions which includes 2 pieces  composed specially for children. One of the leading new music swedish ensembles Gageego! and the chinese duo GU-feng which is based in Germany will join the festival. Also, the chinese musicians will give a seminar at The College of Music and Drama in Gothenburg on 13th, 13:00-15:00.

During the festival Stenhammar Nu! I will play two of my own pieces (Water Wood --- for percussion and prepared piano and San San --- for solo piano) and swedish composer Mats O Hansson´s piece (Verklärte Faune) for solo piano at the Gothenburg Concert House, Stenhammarsalen.

Shared the first prize

2013-10-19

Under the Nordic Music Days 2013 in Helsingki, my piece "Olle och Skatan" won the first prize with Icelandic composer Hugi Gudmundsson for the Fairy Tales in music composition project. Thank you for the performance.
